“We Are Jordanian” is a gift from Armoush Tourist Investments Company - McDonald’s Jordan - to the Kingdom on its 77th Independence Day.
“This is how we celebrate our Jordan, and this is how we express our love for it,” commented Mr. Ahmed Armoush, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Armoush Tourism Investments Company - McDonald’s Jordan - and with these words began the beginning of the new national song that the company decided to release on the occasion of the Kingdom’s 77th Independence Day, as it decided to dedicate it to This year is different, “to join our wise Hashemite leadership and our proud people in celebrating this occasion that is dear to us all,” according to what Mr. Armoush added.
The song “We Are Jordanian,” which the series launched in conjunction with Independence Day, was sung and composed by the Lebanese artist “Joe Ashkar,” who in turn expressed his happiness with Jordanians sharing their joy on the Kingdom’s Independence Day. Words by Tony Abi Karam, in collaboration with rap artist Thaer Fahmawi, arranged by Dani Al-Helou Studio, and directed by Tony Abi Karam. Jordanian director Taqi Saadeh chose to show the video clip clips from tourist and archaeological sites, as well as the cultural face of the Kingdom, to highlight the extent of development it is witnessing under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, Ibn Al Hussein.
It is worth noting that Armoush Tourism Investments Company adopts an innovative perspective in implementing its societal and national responsibility, and is keen to participate in national events as an expression of its Jordanianism and its affiliation to the Kingdom’s leadership and people. Launching the national song is considered a different method from previous participations in any events at the national level.
